With the otogar on your right hand side, drive to the taffic lights and turn left, take 1st right you are now at the bottom of the area known as deliktas, hope this helps

Its fine as long as you know what building works are happening. Building in this area is not restricted during the tourist season and there was a period for a couple of years when there was noise all around. Has been much quieter over the last 12 months.

Not sure why but I'm getting a strange sort of feeling that nigethebuilder has not done too much research about the Fethiye area or Turkey as a whole before deciding to live there.

Deliktas is very peaceful generally. It is also cooler than most of Fethiye as there always seems to be a bit of a breeze. You can feel the temperature difference as you walk up the hill, trust me you do not want to be in the centre of Fethiye in July or August!

Most building work has finished, roads are finished, there is a dolmus service every half-hour (every hour at weekends) until 19:25.
After that you need to get the Tasyaka dolmus and walk the rest (about 10-15 mins to the top)

Deliktas is a nice place to have an apartment.  For all the apartment blocks in this area, we have found very quiet and peaceful at most times, especially now the hillside building work has stopped!

i second that.we had 3 years of building noise and red dust.glad it's all settled down a bit.Mind you it all looks a bit derelict? up there!
