Title: Teletext
Post by: heather07 on September 03, 2009, 07:54:45 AM
I have booked a last minute holiday through teletext. I was told I would have paperwork within 72 hours. I have recieved transfer details, hotel details but no flight details.  72 hours were up yesterday so I phoned them and was told to e mail.
I am now in a panic as I don't see any flights from Glasgow at 10.00am on a sunday in the BAA website.
Anybody else gone through teletext recently???

It's warming to read that communications have advanced so much in the modern age that you now are told by humans you are speaking to, to email them instead.

Thank you Ron.  At least I can have a good moan if it goes pear shaped.  I would rather have a holiday though.

If you do not hear anything could you not go to the airport and go to the Onur Air desk you should be on their passeger list if it is all paid for, good luck.

I have thought about phoning them to put me out of my misery.
I have checked all Scottish flights and there is not one that goes at 10am.  They still have 24 hours to reply to my email.  But the flight details are now over 24 hours late.
I should have stuck with the regular companies.:(

I have phoned everyone I can get a number for and eventually tracked it down.  I was then told I would have to wait 48 hours for the email.  I told them I wantr said email NOW and guess what I got it:D
I am flying with Goldtrail.  I checked their site and they do have a flight going on 20th at 10.00am.
So I am open to any warnings that people want to give me.

It was reported recently that Teletext will cease trading in 2010 as they cannot compete with the Internet.I believe it was the owner being interviewed.:(

Boring subject again!!!!!!!!

I checked the BAA site this morning and a Onur air flight left Glasgow airport at 10.29 am.

I can live with 29 minutes late:D

I think I can look forward to a holiday now 8)
