Here is an article on a local paper over the weekend -

It's all good, but half way through it talks about the market in Fethiye and states - "The Tuesday market here has everything from axes to saffron.  But the highlight is the vegetables: every variety you can think of and plenty we didn't know.  It makes even the best French markets look ordinary"

The market is very good I agree.  This is high praise indeed but is it worthy of such an accolade[?]

Of course it is.you would struggle to find a larger and more varied selection of fruit and veg' anywhere

I read this in the P.&.J.  the pictures of Kalkan and Cas where lovely, no mention of Calis though.   There was a two page spread in the newspaper.  I know more people in our area are now going to Turkey since the Euro is so bad.  Trouble is most people I have spoken to go to Marmaris or Bodrum.  I did speak to my new hairdresser last week who goes regularly to Hisonaru, but has never heard of Calis!!!

I tell you the fruit and veg market is the highlight of my visit to the Tuesday market - LOVE IT
