Title: Golden Moon Jewellers
Post by: Jenny1 on September 16, 2009, 15:17:25 PM
Hi
I have lots of broken gold rings etc that I would like to have made into a ring.
Has anybody had this done by Mete at his shop, Golden Moon jewellers?
And any idea how much it costs to have one made?
Thanks
Jen

Thanks Puma, was just going to try Turkey because i've heard lots of good reports how reasonable it is to have jewlellery made, and that gold is better quality? Or something like that.  :)

Whilst in calis in  june / july we found that the goldsmith repairer who worked in the golden moon shop had moved to a shop in Fethiye we found him and he repaired several gold items and made a brilliant gold piece to our design.
 .
his price was a great deal less than the three places in Calis to make this, Also his price for old broken gold was also lots higher than the Calis shops. E G  in the shop opposite Josheps bar price offered £475 cash in his shop £610 cash  And higher than UK old gold prices quoted.

directions are stand with your back to carriefor in fethiye go across the road, go up the side street in front of you , ist turn right, and he was at his workbench  in the Silver Shop on your left hand side, the lady in golden moon estate agents will contact him for you as they used to work together and he will meet you in calis.

There is another jewelery/goldsmith shop my wife has used and had new rings made, also had existing repaired. If you stand outside the PTT with your back to it,walk straight across the road opposite up to the entrance of the new arcade on the left, their premises are at the corner of it.They have their own workshop at the back of the shop.I believe the name is Tufanlar. They will also purchase old jewelery from you irespective of quality of the gold.jon
