Title: Tennis elbow
Post by: Piscoe on September 17, 2009, 08:46:41 AM
Just got back from the doc's with a diagnosis of Tennis Elbow. You guessed it, I don't play so**ing tennis!!

Doc says I need to rest it and not undertake activities to aggrivate it too much so bang goes the golf this weekend. With her in doors on her way to Calis this weekend I was thinking I could get away with it Saturday and Sunday but now nothing. Bu**er!

You can get a special bandage thing to put on it Pete.
My mrs suffered with it for a few months and she bought one it was about £20 but she said it helped quite a lot.

Iv'e had tennis elbow in the past & have found if you can put a small round object say walnut size on the painfull area on the painfull spot & put something tight round your forearm to keep it tight & in place it will heal in no time I promise, have used this several times. Feel around on your forearm for the painfull area & put the object on top. Hope it works for you.

Thanks all. I did play at the weekend and whilst it did hurt like hell I got through it ok. I have rested it a lot more this week and it appears to be easing off.
