Hi, I am flying out with British Midlands flight No BD8351 @ 20.25 from M/cr Terminal 3 to Dalaman. And flying back on Sat 10th Oct. BD8352. Flight was booked with Custom Flights through Travel Rep.
A few questions if any of you can help?
Will this be BMI?
I am a bit worried as when I was booking my holiday with Onthe beach.com, there was a problem with the booking, (It worked out I had 9 days in resort, which I thought was a bit odd?)they called me and advised this flight was unavailable.
I then went on to Travel Republic website and booked my hol, 7 days.
Same flight time going out. I have read some of the reviews, which are nightmares! Changing flight times by 12 hours, the day before flying etc.
Is there anywhere I can check this flight exists? It doesn't show anymore on the travel Rep site, but that may be because it is full.
I know I'm probably stressing over nothing, but, you know how us women worry!

BMI is British Midland and they operate flight code BD****
I've used BMI a couple of times to Dalaman and the flights are great, one of the best I'd say for DLM, but we did have a couple of time problems - the main one coming back we left Dalaman 50 minutes late and flew to pick up more passengers in Antalya, then on to UK. There was no mention of this extra stop anywhere from booking to arriving back at Dalaman. When we asked one of the flight attendants if he thought we could make up the time on the flight, he replied that there was no time to make up, we'd actually departed early! Our flight time was wrong [:o] - good job the time given to us was earlier than the actual time.
Not what you wanted to read, sorry about that but you can check the Dalaman flight times online if you are worried.

Hi Jenny I have never flown with BMI but I have booked loads of flights through Travel Republic and never had a problem, if I were you I would phone Travel Republic (it can take a while to get through) the number is on their website and tell them of your concerns and they will be able to confirm the flight exists, I am pretty sure once the flight is fully booked it does disappear from the website. There will always be dissatisfied people in this world posting negative comments about flights etc.

i would get in touch with travel republic and ask them to confirm everything.they are your booking agent and should be able to answer all this stuff.insist they call you prior to travel!
will you be refunded from ..on the beach? presuming you paid online for the flight that wasnt available?
as for the reviews i wouldnt worry too much there are load of places here you can spend time if your not too happy with the accomadation. also they cant write bad reviews about gorgeous mountain scenery,sunsets, and 8o degerees average temp can they!!!

My husband had a really good flight from Dalaman to Heathrow with BMI which was chartered through a company called Late Escapes. He had an excellent meal, pillow and blanket supplied, television on the back of the seat in front and plenty of leg room. I do not know how we would have found it for ourselves as this was arranged through a local travel agent,Lama travel in the old town in Fethiye.
