Title: Food and Drink hamper Raffle 27 September - Winner

The raffle for the food and drink hamper at the Car Boot Sale on Sunday was won by 9 year old Eylul of Gunlukbasi (who celebrates her 10th birthday today) with winning white ticket number 202. The ticket was drawn in the afternoon by a random tourist from Vancouver Island, Canada who happened to be walking along the promenade.

Eylul who was at the car boot sale with her parents purchased just the one ticket with her own pocket money.  The delighted youngster travelled  by dolmus to collect her prize and was given a lift back home by committee member Mercury where she presented the hamper to her parents. Well done Eylul :D

Her mum was absolutely delighted. After Gill carried it up 2 flights of stairs. They weren't going to celebrate due to lack of cash but the chocs, crisps, pop and other goodies means that they can have a tea party now. Just hope we haven't started her on the road to alcholism with the vodka, wine and beer!:D
