Title: Opeing excel and word

When I have files sent by email word and excel I can not open them on my laptop, it goes to file download and is trying but after 15 mins I gave up. All download ok on other laptop any ideas please?
I can open all the spreadsheets that are already on my laptop

Are you saving them first Mark? Rather than opening them straight off the email, save them to my documents and try opening from there.

Keith it won't let me do either, it asks if I want to open or download this file, but I left it running 20 mins still trying but nothing doing

Found it thanks Keith I went in start up menu the other day, I had to many things loading at start up, I took a tick out of microsoft office load up.
