hi all i am looking to come out in November for long term i would like to make new friends anyone any ideas where to go I am a 54 year old male hope someone can help and show me the ropes Steve

Hi Stevie. If you have a look in The Land of lights free paper you will find lists of all sorts of things to do. Join a free Turkish Lesson at one of the bars. It will help you to meet people and they will know of other things to do. We the Calis Carnival committe are always looking for helpers and we also put various events on all Winter. Look for the adverts in the Land of Lights or some of the advertising posters.

The Irish Bar in Fethiye was doing singles nights I believe but not sure if this is still running so could be a good place to meet up with others.

We lived in Lepton but my family still live in Kirkheaton, Waterloo and Dalton. If you e.mail me when you come over we will meet you for a drink. See one possible friend already. Anne age 55 Barrie age 57.

you will have no problem steve in meeting people and finding new interest.....just get yourself over and take it from there....lots to do if you look for it...loads of ex pats here to help once you arrive.
