Have just had a great break in Girne, Northern Cyprus. Whilst there we went into a small super market and bought litre bottles of Gordons for 23 TL and Grants whiskey for 25TL! If N Cyprus is Turkish why the **** do I have to pay about Double for a 70cl bottle in Turkey[?]:-\

We were also there a couple of weeks ago, price of fuel around 1.27 a litre(they also drive on the wrong side of the road:D) , Casinos everywhere, bacon and sausages in the supermarkets, Cathedral City cheddar, colemans mustard, spirits in the shops half the price of duty free????????
