Is it possible to buy the equivalent to "Hammerite" paint in Fethiye?
The railings around our balconies at our apartment are looking really grubby and rust is starting to come through the original paint. Having used Hammerite in the UK I found it very good for covering rust on metal and doesn't peel off like traditional gloss paints.
Any advice most welcome.

You can buy Hammerite at the yapi market and the turkish equivalent.

Göksular (B&Q) next to the empty Citroen place has it downstairs (to the left).  Not a great selection of colours though.

It is called Polsan/Polmetal, not bad quality but not cheap.  You will special thinners/paintbrush cleaner as well (thinners called tinners in turkish)

We bought ours in a very tiny shop on the road where the banks are just opposite the Mulberry Tree Restaurant.  It's really a hole in the wall with a wee man sitting outside, but he sold us Hammerite type paint and brushes and as we recall it was quite cheap.
