hi to all,
We have been informed that we will have to be connected to mains sewage system,NOT OPTIONAL,sometime soon.As we live on a complex everybody will have to pay £400???????
As usual figure plucked out of the air.Has anyone paid this fee or is it total crap as usual.Does the belediye have a set fee for this?

We paid £375 at Capricorn apartments 2 years ago.

The figure of £400 sounds about right as most people were paying 1000 ytl a couple of years ago for connection. It is a small price to pay for cleaner water in the sea. It cost 16.8 m euros to put the new treatment and sewage network in place, 5,000 households could benefit if they all connected and they would also be making a small contribution to pay this loan off.

Total crap is best if only found in sewers, I find.

We had to pay too a couple of years ago when our complex was connected. Cant remember how much but it was a fair amount! About the same as our site fees for the year- I think!

we have had a quote of £1250 to connect to the main sewage system. There are 4 villa's on the site and this is what we were quoted each.
