does anyone know if you can still exchange the old lira for new lira, came across some and might get a new frock out of it if so!!!

I think its still legal tender til end of December.

Do you mean old lira as in millions or old lira as in Yeni?
I heard that Yeni lira will stop being accepted after 31 Dec.

I was given some Yeni's as change in a shop this week - have spent them no problem :-)
