Title: E111 cards
Post by: Gorgeous_bird on November 24, 2009, 15:30:20 PM
I have just noticed that our E111 cards are expired. This is thecard that you have alongside travel insurance to enabe to you to free medical care whilst travelling within Europe. So just a warning that they have an expiry date on but by calling the number 08456062030 yoi can easily order a replacement. :)

E111s have been replaced by European Health Insurance Cards (EHICs) and they aren't valid outside of the EU. Therefore, they're not valid in Turkey.

Correct I should of called it the EHIC, but it does have an expiry date and therefore worth letting people know. It is not valid in Turkey but I did post it in the nothing to do with Turkey section. :)

Yes, I know you posted in the NTDWTurkey section but someone's bound to read it and think that they're valid here.
