Very interesting, I have read some of Orhan Pamuk's books and found "Snow" and "My Name is Red" very interesting. I would like to read the book by Tanpinar.It is hard to buy books like this locally in English but they do have them in Istanbul bookshops.A Turkish friend recently bought the Patrick Kinross book about Ataturk in Istanbul for me which was in English.
