Does anyone know of any cheapish flights going to Dalaman on 26th December I have looked and they all seem to be around £400 each! I have flights booked but are now having to go to Bodrum, I would really like to cancel that booking and get some new flights
Many thanks

Thanks for that Chris I have decided to try and book the Thomas Cook one, do you know or anyone else, how I will stand with getting a full refund from my original booking as I have now accepted the offer of a bus from Bodrum to Dalaman, will this effect my refund?
Many thanks for any advice on this.

will it effect your refund?? I would have thought so, as you have now accepted there offer of the transfer and now wish to cancel your agreement you will not be entitled to a refund, I would suggest you read the small print of your contract before you book with another carrier, there will be cancellation conditions as part of your contract, I strongly recommend that you seek advise, and contact your travel agent, otherwise it could prove to be very costly.
Thats my advise others on the forum may have a better idea's

Yes you were quite right Chris, never gave it a thought that I would not be entitled to a refund now I have accepted their kind offer of a bus, it has been a nightmare today on the phone to Goldtrail and Low Cost (who we booked with) I am not letting it end here, so the next thing is to do the small claims court on line that someone mentioned, they never should have told me that Dalaman airport was shut otherwise I would have cancelled my booking straight away an booked another flight!
Thanks again though for the advice,a lesson has been learnt here!

Karen, Dalaman is not closed its open to all international/Domestic filghts, what has happened is that onuair has withdrawn there service, and the operator Aegean/holidays4you has now contracted/charter Pegasus to operate the service, but due to operational problems ie planes being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and obtaining air traffic control permission, flight plans plus time slots etc, the times and dates have been moved, therefore the reason for the offer of get a full refund or accept the change, which what you have chosen the change, are you outbound to bodrum and outbound from dalaman this is what we are doing, so its only a one way coach transfer a pain in the neck but we are going, would not miss calis at christmas and the new year, if we were staying in england we would plonk ourselves in front of the box and watch 600 hours of repeats and stuff ourselves silly.
Hope you make it to calis, and have a great time you never know we might even see you there.
Chris
