On Sunday, whilst at the Xmas Fair, I noticed their were stalls where you could have a name or words etched onto a drinking glass. Does anyone know of any shops that are open at the moment offering this service?

Linda, Thats one of the crafts I wanted to get into, but apart from Ebay I've never seen the etching materials over here.
One of my plans for next spring is to try and get a collection of the ceramic paints together and start painting glassware.

There is a shop on the prom that does that, it's just by the taxi rank along from the Lighthouse, but I don't know if it opens in Winter.

That's the one I was thinking of Jacqui .... if anyone can confirm whether it is open in winter and on Sundays I would be grateful. Many thanks :)

I dont think it is open Linda but Ill look tonight when we are down that end!

The premises you are talking about are not open in the winter. They are run by the Twins! Two brothers.I think one of them actualy lives in the apartments behind the stall. No reason why you should not ring the bell, they are nice guys, one of them used to run the English/Turkish society on the gunlukbasi road into Fethiye.Hope this helps.
