Nightmare - I've just realised there's no wine in the house and the snows still falling

I popped into Sainsbury today to pick up a few last minute bits, it was like a war zone! the staff could not keep the shelves stocked as everything looked like it had been stripped by a plague of locusts. There was one couple having a blazing row on whether to buy 3 bottle of wine for £10 or go for the 6 bottles for £19.

I was overcome by a feeling of calm knowing that our Xmas & New Year are waiting for us in Calis, that's if the snow subsides !!!

Asda  has been chocker every day, so i'm dreading this week, mind you, I will only need my fresh stuff as i,ve been getting bits in for 2 weeks,might opt for a home delivery from Iceland, I dont want to see another carrier bag for a long time,its a nap we all forget something, we could do with some recipes from forum members, I remember Loz.s one for the beef and it was lovely, but i.ve forgot it now.

Hmmmmm Tesco or Migros, that's a hard one [8)]

Since I don't require to choose flip flops, cooking oil or natural yoghurt from a ridiculously huge selection, or to choose beer from a range of 3 types, it isn't going to be Migros :D

But you can drink one of that poor selection at your balcony here. It is 19 C today :D
