Title: Christmas Number 1
Post by: Rimms on December 20, 2009, 19:40:52 PM
So Rage against the Machine has done it, but what ever happened to the days when a Christmas record made it to number 1?

There are lot's of new Christmas records this year, but the last place you will hear any of them played is on the radio.

You can't even play Killing in the Name on the radio cos there's so much swearing in it.

But I still like the song :D

Its all because of the "Facebook" campaign that they got to No1. Its a load of sh-te, but wee Joe McElderry's song wasn't much better.

I'll admit I joined the facebook campaign for a laugh.

Never thought it would actually happen though...

RATM may have toppled fallen or whatever they were trying to do Joe (Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeep Boring) is still making money and so is Simon Cowell.  Susan Boyle is number 1 in the Album charts so I guess Simon has won again but on a WAY bigger scale.

Simon Cowell is a money machine!  why do we have this thing of Cheering a person when they are trying to make it and then "downing" a person when they make a success?  is it really a case of the green eyed monster?
