Hi,

I've lived in Turkey for getting on for five years now, not visited Fethiye area for a about four years but thinking of moving to Uzumlu and planning to visit in the next six weeks or so.  Sounds a nice place, nice and quiet but with a few more people to socialise with than I have now.

Hoping to get some advice and opinion from you good people about the area.

Welcome from a resident of Uzumlu. Yes it's a lovely place to live and has quite a few things going on within the various restaurants so you can be as sociable as you wish.

Welcome to the Forum.  (from a part time Uzumlu-ite).  Sure you'd love it - plenty to do if you chose, or do as little as you can get away with !  Wish we were there more often thats for sure.
