we would like to find out if anyone has been up to seki for skiing yet. And if so, how was the experience? Can skis and boots and the lot be rented at site? (we forgot, well actually never thought of bringing that stuff over to Turkey)
-
Despite all the publicity it hasn't opened yet. No lifts, no hotels etc. Maybe next year (or the year after or the year after!)
-
Insallah !:D
-
So it did'nt open on the 25th Decmber then?

Ah well, no suprises there then :)
-
I went yesterday, there is a lift there and a restaurant. The lift wasn't in operation but maybe was due to not many people skiing.
Have some pics will try to put them on.
The restaurant looked really nice too with stunning views
-
The restaurant looked really nice with an open fire and food looked good too.
The skis were 50 TL to hire

All those years to build it and the hut is sloping!
-
nice pics...thanks for sharing them with us.

Thats prob more my dodgy photography skills :)
-
I think we had more snow than this in UK.
-
Agree with Loz - my back garden looked better last weekend
-
Where's the ski run?
-
I did wonder that myself, and the lift looks like a drag lift, there is not enough snow for that either.
-
The drag is only about 300mts long...so longer to get up than to come down ;):D
-
300mtrs...lol a washing line is longer!
-
Loz - who does your ironing??????
-
I don't know, whats ironing?[:o)]
-
There was more snow than there looked but it had apparently melted quite a bit because of all the rain
Wouldnt call it a ski resort, Ski run is small but for beginners looked ideal
Good day out :)
-
The photos of the ski centre are interesting. :D

Does that include boot hire? Is there a good range (sizes)?]
