Title: Onur charging for luggage after all?
Post by: maureen on January 25, 2010, 13:38:16 PM
Hi All

Out of the blue I have had one of those "your holiday invoice" emails from an unmonitored email address at Aegean flights.  The flight is already paid for, and is for May half term.

It has 'important information' on the invoice.  The previously "free" luggage allowance of 15kg for booking early, has now changed to £6pp per journey (i.e. £12 return pp).

Anyone else had this?

There is no explanation of how\when\where this fee should be paid, so I will be phoning them.  Oh joy!!

Regards
Maureen: :)

Hi I checked with Aegean ,they said the invoice was just to show a change in flight times and it is a standard letter including the new statement about baggage charges. If you booked your flight on the premise of 15kg free for early booking that stands and will appear on your final itinerary/e ticket which you receive 7-10 days before departure.I would keep both original and new invoice as a precaution ,check your itinerary and double check your flight times.Hope this helps.
