The second one was on the news here. How you can be accused of not being in control of your vehicle, when sitting in stationary traffic with your handbrake on is beyond me. I have a feeling this one might be dropped :)
-
The incident happened soon after Pc Gray handed out a £50 fine for littering to unemployed Stewart Smith, who accidentally let a £10 note from his dole money drop out his pocket as he left a shop.
-
Classic, money is now classed as litter!
-
IMHO you don't have to look hard in the Mail to see stories like this - they love them, personally I tend to ignore them
-
Yes I agree, but they did happen!

eric....the second one is the best, daftest, how on earth can you be fined for blowing your nose in a statinary car...and further down in the article a motorist was fined for laughing in a car..totaly crazy.

The Highway Code recommends that you avoid the certain distractions when driving or riding such as
loud music (this may mask other sounds)
trying to read maps
inserting a cassette or CD or tuning a radio
arguing with your passengers or other road users
eating and drinking
smoking
Try telling the present Mrs H that ;)

If you think they were bad. How about the advert for a reliable person that was considered not P.C. because it would offend unreliable people.. Here it is

Apparently his colleagues call this politically correct moron "Shiney Buttons" because of his jobsworth attitude:(

Whilst driving my bus round Coventry City Centre I reckon quite a few of the taxi drivers there must use the Brail application forms :D 8)
