Hi I'm Sue T, not quite a new member, but been absent for so long few will remember me!
I help to run F.I.G. and a large part of my reason for resurfacing is to keep you in touch with FIG (Fethiye International Group) activities. For the last 5 years we have been active in Fethiye raising money for local children. We run a charity shop in Dolgu Sahisinda and put on a few events from time to time. So here is hoping that you will bear with me keeping you in touch with our activities from time to time. :D
and Scunner - if I done this wrong SORRY

Welcome back sue. Bruce

Welcome Sue - your organisation does really good work and seems to have stood the "test of time" - well done.
I am sure we will be going to many of the Zakuum FIG nights when we are over for 6-months in April.

Any colours welcome, multi colours welcome, and any age group now. We have some superb pics of the children from Yaki akinlar school, Grace should have copies in the shop soon, better not publish them online!

HI sue and welcome, found some interesting info regarding FIG
in an articlea few weeks ago.
We hope to support the group when in Fethiye in the summer :)

FIG featured in an article in the internet version of the Hurriyet Daily news on Monday regarding one of our 'special needs' campaigns illustrates the resiliance of a Mum struggling against the odds. She is a brilliant village lady.

I know of a group of people who organised a home baked cake stall at one of their social events and raised a substantial amount of money to help this little boy and his family. We met the family and the little boy, he is very lively. :)
Perhaps someone else can come up with some ideas to raise money to help the children who are having to face disadvantages through ill health. :)
Perhaps a fun walk around Kaya and a meal at one of the Kaya restaurants would raise some funds.
