The next Calis Carnival Car Boot sale takes place this Sunday 21 February. Due to the popularity of the event stallholders are asked to arrive between 7.00 and 8.00 am as advance bookings cannot be taken.
There are only 3 more car boot sales of the winter season left (the others are 21 March and 18 April) so now is the time to have a sort out and get rid of your unwanted goods. The monthly sale is held in the car park at the rear of Made Ice Cream parlour in Calis. Stalls cost 10 lira each (2 tables width) and sellers can hire tables at 2 lira. Charity stalls are allowed one stall space free of charge.
All money raised from stall fees and the Carnival committee stall goes towards Calis Carnival and the carnival charity helping disadvantaged children in the local area.
If you do not want the hassle of having a stall but are still having a clear out, the Carnival committee are always pleased to receive donations of unwanted items for their charity stall. Please ring 0535 8554919 or 0536 3739520 for information/donations.

Just to confirm that the Calis Car Boot Sale is definitely on tomorrow morning despite the iffy weather forecasts (fingers crossed that Calis escapes the showers :)) If we are really unlucky and it is torrential rain at set up time and a decision is then taken to cancel we have special permission from Fethiye Zabita to hold it next Sunday.
