Gone public if you had won the £ 56m that is.

I know I could afford protection but I'd worry about my family's personal security.

No way would I have gone public.
Just got on with helping others, you could do some serious 'good' with 56m.[^]
As well as looking after my family and having a nice quite time.[^]
With 56m you could buy some meat and fill the car up even in fethiye: :)

No way would I go public with that! Anonymously donate to some charities then move out to Calis probably and live a lazy life with my family.

definitely not.  Not sure what benefit it would be to anyone.  But I definitely be on the next plane to Turkey.  You could do some serious good in the world with £50m+ and it would take me several months of turkish sunshine and hospitality to sort out what I would do first !  (AnimalAid....if only !)
