Post by: laurack on February 23, 2010, 20:14:08 PM: Hi all I have been a member for a while , but this is my first post so be gentle with me. We went to koca calis August 2 years ago and loved it. We will be back this year. My mum and dad want to come to calis in November . Can you give me an idea on the weather that time of the year and is it ok to swim in the sea? Also are the bars and resturants open in november?

Post by: littlereddevil on February 24, 2010, 08:38:26 AM: I always like the weather in November generally. It's often around 25. I don't swim in the sea then but people do ! The main bars and restaurants down the front are always open.

Post by: captainjon on February 24, 2010, 18:02:56 PM: Hi Laurack,Its good someone is thinking of coming in November.The weather is generaly good with good temps and the winter rain does not really intrude till Jan.But! whilst most of the bars will be open a large amount of the restaurants will not be.Most of the seasonal hotels will close in the last week of Ocktober.The evenings become darker earlier, some where around 5pm I would suggest and you will probably need cardigans to go out in the evening.If you want to see all the facilities no later than the second week in Ocktober would be better I suggest enjoy

And as captainjon mentioned about a cardy, it did get a bit chilly at night

Post by: laurack on February 26, 2010, 20:00:51 PM: My Mum and Dad are in their mid seventies, but they still like to go out and have a beer or three. I hope it will be not to quiet for them. They want to go for 3 weeks . I hate recomending places for other people as what we think is great, might not nesessarily be for others! We went in August and will do the same this year,but as I said my parants want to go in November.We live in Cornwall and they feel it is fine here in the summer and like to break up the winter. ( Lucky sods!!)
