Ladies are invited to enjoy a leisurely afternoon of "Knickers and Nibbles" at the Eyna Steak House Restaurant and Cafe Bar on Calis Seafront on Friday 12 March from 12 noon to 4.00 pm.
Local lingerie company Afrodit, ran by English resident Lindsay Toraman and her friend Brenda, are holding a ladies-only underwear party at the newly refurbished Eyna Restaurant, and will be inviting you to browse through their extensive range of tasteful garments which are available in an extensive ranges of styles and sizes from A to F cup. They will be selling all items from stock and as well as bras,knickers and cami-sets there will also be items of swimwear and nightwear for sale. Prices range from as little as 1.5 TL for single items and 10 TL for matching sets. There will be a changing area available so that you can try on the goods before purchasing
The afternoon which is being organised by the lady members of the Calis Carnival Committee is being hosted by the new owners of the Restaurant, Nalan and Erhan who are anxious to support the Carnival events (although Erhan will make a hasty retreat once the party starts!).
For a small entrance fee of just 5 TL you will receive a free alcoholic cocktail or a glass of fruit juice as well as a selection of nibbles. Nalan will also be making some of her delicious cakes which will be on sale for those for those who wish to indulge or you may wish to choose something off their lunch menu. As well as a chance to purchase some great underwear, it is a chance for ladies to relax, chat and make new friends.
The ladies from Afrodit are kindly donating an item of lingerie towards a charity raffle which will take place during the afternoon as well as making a donation from sales to the Calis Carnival charity, helping disadvantaged children in the Calis/Fethiye area.

Don't forget ladies - Knickers and Nibbles at the Eyna Bar on Calis Seafront tomorrow from 12 noon to 4pm. Not only will you be able to enjoy a chat, make new friends and purchase some lovely undies but we also have a manicurist coming along to do your nails as well - a really girly day out :D

Thanks to everyone who attended the Knickers and Nibbles afternoon yesterday. we had about 100 ladies attend and it was a very pleasant social afternoon - nice undies to buy, lovely sunshine, a chance to have a chat and a manicure, add to that Nellie's cocktails and her delicious tiramisu cake as well as great Italian coffee from her new Lavazza coffee machine - great :)
We made just over 200 TL on the raffle. We still have one unclaimed prize of the picnic glasses - ticket number 348 in the name of Lesley - if it is you, please e-mail me through the forum - to collect.
Thanks to the ladies from Afrodit and Nellie and her helpers at Eyna and also the lady who did the nails (sorry I cannot remember your name :-\)
If the ladies want, we may organise another ladies only afternoon in a couple of months time, perhaps with make up and jewellery as well.

I wonder was it Mel that did the nails? She does mine when we come over, she was expecting a baby last September and did not know when she would get back to work. I hope it is her back to work as she is probably the best I have every used when abroad.

Yes it was Mel and I agree she is brilliant at manicures and the pedicure is second to none Lovely lady and little Jack is now six months old
