I'm John Holmes, living in Manchester. Just registered with Calis forum, already on Hisa forum. Love Turkey, we go nearly every year for a holiday in June, although we haven't yet stayed in Calis we have visited several times on the waterbourne taxi! The area is fantastic and I think I can say we've never had anything but good memories of our travels there. We're thinking of moving to Turkey in a couple of years, but strangely enough, we're thinking more of long term rental rather than buying. Hope to share lots of views with you all in the future!

Hi John and welcome to CBF. I'm sure you'll find it as useful and entertaining as we have  8) We have a place in Calis and back home are not far from you in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester.

Hi John another welcome to the CBF from Kevin and Karen who have just taken the plunge and purchased an apartment in Ovacik which is just outside Fethyie. You could not pick a better place for a holiday, the area is great and I say that as someone who has visted lots of other places in Turkey. Happy holiday!!
