Changed residency status to tourist visa yesterday via the Meis run purely on cost grounds. Just to advise anyone following this route that they do require your old expiring residency on the initial changeover. :)

hang on to your old blue book mate, you will need it if you decide to revert back in the future.

Thank you it is securely locked away in the safe....will change direction again if it becomes more economical to do so :)
