Is No 4 a trick one? "Jerry" ????
-
No but it is rather obscure, so...
Character was played by the wonderful Roy Kinnear and the show also starred the equally splendid Brian Murphy
-
Ah now,
Roy Kinnear played a cowboy bodger of a builder in George & Mildred. Would never have remembered his name in the show though :)
Just a shot in the dark, there was a George who worked with Gary in Men Behaving Badly - is that George Dent?
-
Very obscure!! But very helpful!! I will keep it quiet as its very good!!
-
Jerry is correct (also in Man About the House) :)
The "George" is not the one I was thinking of in Men Behaving badly:(

Ken Masters was the boss of the boat yard in the Sunday night serial - name of programme escapes me at the mom

Ken Masters owned the boatyard in Howards Way. :)

Ok - one to go. To be frank, I think you may need a clue or two

2. The last word of a famous song
-
I'm away now, so no replies until tomorrow.

No Buddy, you are thinking of Alf Garnett,s son in law in "Till death us do part" played by Tony Booth. In "love thy neighbour" Jack Smethurst payed the white "neighbour" and Rudolf Walker played the black "neighbour", Rudolf Walker, is the "old" black guy in Eastenders currently.
-
Well done to dreamon on who is correct with Ken Masters although not sure that he owned the boatyard.
-
Many thanks to everyone who took part :).
Whose turn is it to be quiz master.
-
Thanks for putting me right Baz, I can see where my chain of thought was coming from but the Brandy kind of sent me down the wrong road again.
-
I reckon Lance should come out to play, H ! He could keep us all going for weeks.
