I can recommend Cagatay Aras completely, very modern and spotlessly clean practice and skillful dentist. He is in Fethiye near Burger King and is kind to CBF members (as kind as a dentist can be  ;) )

His details are here:

Can second this recommendation Cagatay is a great dentist and a very nice guy.
It's wonderful to be able to get such quick appointments.  We use him each year
and don't bother with a U.K. dentist now.  Can recommend the cleaning and whitening
treatments much cheaper that the U.K.

Not sure on prices but you can make an appointment now for July - just email him (address is in link given) - he speaks excellent English and can give you an idea of price and pencil you into the diary.

About half what it costs in the U.K. plus much better treatment. We emailed for initial appointments, however, once you are there and have your first appointment you can be booked for your next appointment for the following day.  There is no long wait for appointments.  We also got a discount for cash.  ;)

I have just had a full mouth treatment at Likya Dent which is along by the canal between Tuesday market and Migros rd. 60 lira for white filling, 150 lira for crown and 5oo lira for the whitening package. I had my treatment done over 10 days and would certainly recommend the place. All brand new and up to date equipment. The dentist even has his own translator who trained in the Uk.My brother in law most miffed as he has just paid 250 pounds for a crown in UK.

Have made an appointment with Dt Aysegul - dentist at FETIP clinic - cost for tooth whitening is £275 - just slightly cheaper than the UK - anyone heard any reports?
thanks

I think it is the dentist not necessarily the practice.

I have had 3 dentists for clean only in Fethiye - 2 crap and one excellent. The last one at the place where I had an excellent dentist (sadly not there now) this time I had this girl.

Well I thought she must have just qualified but actually turned out she'd been practicing 3 years. My mouth was all bruised by the time she had finished, I have never ever had that before.

She seemed unable to get into a comfortable position to work - I had to ask her to do more work when she thought she had finished and even then she still didn't do a proper clean.

I used to go every 6 months in the UK and I do know what a proper clean entails.

Also check the price for a clean includes both the top and bottom teeth and ask for the price in TL.

Seems odd  that you ask this question on a thread that has recommended Dentists but you have booked with someone you know nothing about.
We got our Dentist in Turkey through great recommendation on CBF and everyone was right.
Also £275.00 does seems a lot cheaper than the U.K. for whitening, but about right for Turkey,  however, it depends what method is used and how many treatments you get for the money.  Probably best to ask the Dentist these questions before you go.  ;)

Whilst everything else is really cheap in terms of dentistry we have found that teeth whitening is actually cheaper in the UK.

Lots of us on the forum have used dentists in Turkey and the overall experience and value tends to be better than in the UK

Tooth whitening was much cheaper in Turkey than in Scotland, plus there were more sessions and the results looked a lot better.
