Thought this was useful info to know and if you read to the end you'll see how your browser fares according to an independant study.

Not that independent unfortunately - NSS labs were paid by Microsoft to carry out these tests so its not surprising that their clients browser fared better than its competitors.

Firefox is OK for me. Used it for some time now with little trouble.

firefox keeps itself up to date as well, it upgrades when you launch it approx once a month. I find it runs much quicker than IE. A word of warning though, some websites don't like firefox. www.goldtrail.co.uk used to just come up as the raw page coding, now it works so I presume it has been updated to work with firefox.

You can still use IE anyway if you run into a problematic site with firefox

Only problem I have with Firefox is when I'm updating a website that I look after. When I want to put the £ sign it comes up as AA instead. Tried lots of ways to sort it but in the end I just go back to using IE for that particular site.

I still find FF much faster than IE though.
