We're moving today - if I take longer than usual to get back to any questions on here or indeed emails that will be why. I will be reconnected full time soon and in the mean time will be "all fingers and thumbs" on my iphone :D

Don't want to worry you, mate of mine moved in March, took him two whole weeks to get back on line with virgin media, with his old e-mail address and phone number which he had to do for his business.
Never known him so mad could not get to talk to any body human at virgin, cost him a fortune in calls, he had been told it would be no problem before he moved, apart from that he quite likes Virgin media.
I also have to say I have never had any major problems with virgin media.

You should advise your mate to do something radical like I did - plan ahead!

He did plan ahead and was told by virgin it would be no problem. He now thinks it was because he needed to keep his old ntlworld.com e-mail address and virgin are trying to move people away from this, kept saying to him it would be easy to reconnect him if he changed.
