Title: Art classes at the Mozaik Bahçe

There will be art classes at the Mozaik Bahçe restaurant on Thursday mornings starting on 22nd April.

10.30-12.30

Run by Lesley. Classes previously held at the Mulberry.

Cost is 10TL and includes a coffee/tea and something to nibble on maybe cake or buscuits. I may, if I'm not too busy make my Eccles cakes for the first meeting.

Absolute beginners welcome and no need to bring anything as Lesley will provide necessary materials.

I spoke to Lesley today. She provides acrylics but these can be watered down.

You are welcome to bring own materials and the classes are very informal and flexible - ideas for what to do are welcome.

Hi Nichola,
An art class sounds great!  Can you give some more details pls?  Can I just turn up on the 22nd?  Is it only painting or also drawing or other arts?

Yes please do just turn up - 10.30 start. Lesley is lovely and very open and approachable and is open to suggestions about what is done.

If you don't have your own materials - no problem she will provide...

I assume she plans for the coming week... I have to remember to make eccles cakes on Wednesday.... worth coming for all by themselves :P

Maybe if anyone is planning to come along they could just flag up here as its only 6 eccles cakes to a batch!  and I'll eat at least 3 of them  ;)

Hi I will try to come along if work commitments dont interfere. Never painted since I was a kid, years ago, but always wanted to have a go, also quite like Eccles Cakes :D

It just dawned on me today that Lesley is in the UK (was due back Mon/Tue) so of course I don't know if she will now be back in time for Thursday... what with everything going on with flights

I will email everyone personally who posts to say they might come directly I get any news either way and of course post something here too...  :)

OK - I have been contacted by a member of the art group and it seems that some of the existing members will come along on Thursday anyway.

So if you would like to come along whether Lesley is there or not and meet the rest of the group who sound a friendly bunch please feel free to do so.

Just to confirm that with or without Lesley the art group will meet Thursday 10.30am Mozaik Bahce and I am making eccles cakes as we speak...  :)

have just booked ticket and will return to dalaman v early monday morning, best i could do.
please nicola explain to my lovely artists that i couldnt get back sooner, i so miss their company it is always the highlight of my week\I will certainly be there next thursday and I will expect to see homework done!

sorry to new painters, please explain that i was stuck but they simply must turn up next week!

Just to let you know that last week the art classes resumed in earnest and tomorrow is the next meeting.

The art class starts at 10.30am at the Mozaik Bahçe in Fethiye
