What an amazing turn around of events in 4 days from your original post Margo, from the smell of jasmine and honeysuckle to the smell of sulphur (metaphor)

It will be like the Dunkerque evacuation soon, reading some amazing stories about people taking alternative routes and modes of transport, some really thinking outside the box.

Several people I know have shipped out on container ships. Most have at least 8 empty berths that can be paid for. Not from Turkey mind.

Mother and father are flying instead on the 27th, to Antalya and then domestic to Fethiye.  So if you see any folks around my gaff, they're my Mom and Dad. Due to work commitment I can only see me flying for long weekends / bank holiday weekends for foreseeable future.
