I think I can say a good time was had by all last nite in Cafe Soul.  A big thanxs to Steve who hosted an excellent quiz, the winning team "The Neighbours" won and received a bottle of champagne.
Excellent food and the meze starter was beautifully presented.
Proceeds of the raffle and a contribution from Cafe Soul for each meal sold meant we raised approx 130L for each charity. Im sure Jo or Tinx will put the exact amount on here.

I second that. We had a really good night. It was a good laugh and a good quiz. The staff in Cafe Soul are excellent. We will definitely go again.

Yes a great night had by our team as well :-\
We raised 110 lira for the Animal Shelter and same for the Carnival,

This was the first time that I have been In Calis when one of these 'do's' has been on Andy and Pauline dropped by and invited us to go along and I must say we had a great night. If you get a chance to attend one go, you won't regret it.

Andy, have you seen that Serkan at Cafe Soul is doing another Charity Night meal next Saturday. It is a May Day Party and he is donating 2 TL from each meal, again to be split between the Carnival charity and Animal Aid.  Please have a look at the May Day party thread on this section to see details. For anyone wishing to go you must book a table as it will be busy.
