OH Yes He Did!!!

I think it was the Kusadasi and Northern Irish 'ladies' in their 50 (ish)looking for love...lol  and surprise surprise they found it. I wonder if the program is sponsored by the magazine Take a Break.

This is the third time this has been repeated if it's the one that ends up with the woman getting married on a boat.  Wonder if it all worked out for her and they are still together?

I've been known to be romantic in my time Jacqui :D My comment is based on facts, sadly. If anyone can think of any flourishing relationships where the female is 20 years older than the male I'll be surprised. Forget that, 10 years even :D

I seem to have steered us into familiar CBF territory  :)

Erm

British Woman/Turkish Man I meant  :)

I am not surprised about these older Northern Irish women going on holiday looking for younger men. That is *exactly* what happened to me :D

If anybody knows when this is going to be on again, can you let me know?
If people find out I go to Turkey on my own, they always say, 'where you going, Marmaris?'
Winds me up so much!
I just say, no, I go somewhere really chilled, that has a promenade and 1 main street!  :)

I go to Turkey on my own a lot too, but I never get Turkish Woman half my age throwing themselves at me. Where am I going wrong?

Your maths are all wrong Steve. You need to look for a woman double your age over there, not half :D

Young Turkish women do look for an older British man as a husband too. I was in my local supermarket and the girls on the till were saying that they want English husbands with plenty of money! My husband looked very interested!!!:D

I am afraid dreamon we do tell, normally have a right laugh about it with our mates, and as for being grateful: why would we be grateful when we normally have to start with diagrams and a step by step guide, believe me most of us old grannies have forgotten more, than many members of the opposite sex will ever know.  I know this is off topic, and i am the first to laugh at myself, but the insults are dished out as if the butt of your comments have no feelings,  we all make comments but in private.  Live and let live, and keep it light hearted, if you cant say anything good say nothing, and finally i do have a sense of humour as keith and many of you know, but sometimes enough is enough

I liked what Joan Collins said when she was asked about the great age difference between her and her much younger husband Percy. She replied " If he dies, he dies!" :)

I've just had a look at this and the ladies are all from Southern Ireland.

This program reflects just what we are seeing regularily in Turkey.

There was a bloke in the paper today, who took this quote literally!  He and his granny are "together" and planning a surrogate baby.  He's in his 20s and she's in her 70's!   :o:( :o

My sister has been living with a Turkish man for 20 years. They are married.  She is 14 years older than him ( 19 if you go by his official documents).  What was the bet Keith ?

I know this topic is a bit old, but this programme was on about a week ago on Sky Living. Me and my Dad fell about laughing throughout most of it, if not we were cringing!

When looking up Kusadasi I found a forum that mentioned the show and apparantly the lovely Eileen was (or still is) a bit of a matchmaker out there. Pretty much a case of if your a single lady sitting on your own she'll find you someone regardless if you're looking or not. Oof
