Wow!! every meal was delicious and plentiful, could have had a doggy bag to take back but hubby decided he would like to finish anything that I could not manage!!
Jack and Joseph were also extremely friendly and professional.
We can't wait to go back!!
-
Have they changed the decor for this year ?

So is Savas still calling himself Jack Sparrow? He likes that name and is Yusef back?
Cannot wait, it's our favourite restaurant in Calis. Great food and great guys.
-
I no yusef and savash (jack) had a bit of a fall out before so hope they have made up. The double act !!:D

We loved George's restaurant and had 3 fab meals there last year. Will definatly return again in May. ;)
-
We ate at George's in April for the first time. The food was fantastic and the service faultless - we will definitely head back there in June - especially as Yusef is such a great host.
-
Is George still to be found at the restaurant?
-
George is Savas's Father and still sits at the back watching and taking the money. Savas's brother Hassan used to serve at the bar, but was going into the Army this year. Savas and Yusef fell out last year and Yusef was working at the Orient Express. I hope Savas and Yusef have now made friends again and Yusef is back, they made a great team.
-
So glad to hear Yosef & Savas have made up,they are a good team so sad they parted ways last year.
But hey ho thats the past, best wishes for 2010 see you all soon. I know Savas reads all these posts.

Can someone tell me where georges is please from when you go over the bridge thanks. ;)
-
Lance. Over the bridge to the prom, turn right, about 300M, where the Chinese lanterns are, next to Enya. They used to do the most delicious sizzling prawns. Can't wait to try them again. I heard that Denis the Menace has left Eyna, anyone know where he is now.

The Bus Stop has now been renamed "Dennis the Menace" so I think he might be there ;)

Georges is doing chinese food again this year.
-
does anyone know if Baz is still bringing in the customers think he was in the rest next to Georges?
-
Baz was in Serkul 1 last year. Not sure about this this season. I love George's. The lamb shank is absolutely beautiful, the best in Calis.

The best Restaurant in Calis imo. We dined there many times in our fortnights holiday and every meal was delicious from the chinese menu ( sizzling beef amazing) traditional turkish ( ottoman rolls so tasty) pizzas and an extensive vegetarian choice ( veg kebab a favourite ) Young George aka Jack Sparrow a great guy with a terrific sense of humour greets you and along with top waiter Yusef form an entertaining double act of fun to make every dining experience memorable. Thanks to all the Guys for brilliant times

We took our neighbours their in September, and they really enjoyed themselves, said it was one of the best meals they have had in Calis. I have to say I love the Topkapi Chicken, it's my personal favourite. Love Georges, and love the boys who run it they are total professionals.

Once again thanks Jack, Yusef and all at George's for all the good food and great times, My favourite restaurant in Calis didn't disappoint again, friendly, attentive staff who love a banter and fresh tasty cuisine, first place i visit without a doubt.

We found it packed this September, had to wait at the bar for a table, it's certainly a popular place. My husband loves the liver in fact, I think he is addicted!!
