Hello. We are Tony and Denise Carter just coming up to our third visit in three years to Calis. We actually stay in a friends apartment in Gunlukbasi. Love it! We found your site whilst searching for info on mobile broadband dongles to buy in Turkey. We used an internet cafe the first year but it was not very convenient, then used our UK mobile and laptop last year but it cost us a fortune. Unfortunately we have to do emails for business even when we are on holiday!!

There are lots of cafes and restaurants that have free wireless connection so maybe just a laptop would be enough to use...

Welcome to the forum - there are lots of bars and restaurants with free wireless - Cafe Inn and Cafe Pazar - Shamrock, Pastries & Pies as well as some along the front in Calis - also Mozaik Bahce in Fethiye - lovely cook garden to sit in there and have a drink too :-)  I lived here for 3 months without internet at home and always managed to find somewhere with wireless for a few hours in the afternoons.

That's a nice thought Highlander but does not pay for our trips to Calis!

Thank you Kizkucuk. We shall certainly try and find some of your suggestions. As we are visiting for a short period with family I am wanting to avoid being "anti-social" and was hoping to attend to my emails at the apartment when they have gone to bed!!
