Title: Keep in touch with home very cheap
Post by: karaokemark on May 14, 2010, 16:52:14 PM
Been posted a while back but this site is very handy if you have a Turkish mobile family can call you from the UK 2.5p per min no extra charges. If you have a Turkish landline then only 1p a min much cheaper than using your Turkish mobile to call the Uk.

so for a Turkish mobile from the uk

0844 320 60 60 then 0090 then your mobile without the zero

If you have Skype they do an offer of £19.90 for unlimited calls to ALL uk landlines for a year. Not all my family have computers (The older ones anyway). Scunner has saved us a fortune with this recommendation.

yes I know Mark. I do ring their landlines but last year we had severe problems in the Uk so we used the £19 facility hundreds of times. It would have cost a lot more to use the normal Skype facility. Calls are unlimited and I can call my daughter, mum, dad etc for hours on end and not see the amount go down.

There is (or at least was) the opportunity to pay monthly Jean - this gave extra free months (something like pay for 9 months and get 3 free) and because you paid for the year in one go the monthly rate was also cheaper.
