Yesterday, 24th May.. my husband and I went to Fethiye for the day having lunch in the old part... a young approx six month old male Golden Retriever went to sleep at our feet.
When we decided to leave the dog followed us... we went into shops and even the bank where the dog scratched at the doors to get to my husband.
We even tried to hide from the dog , so maybe it would return to its home or normal environment , but it still found us and wanted to stay with us wherever we went .
On the way back to the car, the dog jumped in ...what could we do... the dog is beautiful and house trained as he spent the night in the villa.
The problem is we already have three dogs ourselves all under the age of two.
If you know of someone who has lost this dog ,or you may know of someone who could give this one a wonderful home ,as it deserves , please contact us .He is fine with other dogs and with children .He is affectionate and loving .A great companion and friend for someone .
No one in the part of Fethiye that we found the dog had ever seen him before , and no one knew who he belonged to .
Anyone who can help in any way please contact us , but we will have to check out anyone looking to rehome him as he is a very special little character and deserves to be with the right folks, otherwise he stays with us !
