If you are watching the footie on STV (who don't show it in HD) and have a SKY H.D. Box. There are simple instructions to follow on youtube to get it in HD.

Ah yes
And for viewers in the STV area who want to watch the World Cup in HD on Freesat - simply enter your postcode as somewhere not in the STV region. Border TV area is best as you will still get BBC Scotland regional news and programmes of great quality, such as River City :P

Glad to see you are at the cutting edge of culture Ketih .... River City!!!: :)
-
....and how are you Ketih ?
-
Ketih was one of the names I was called in Turkey. In fact, a birthday party for my kids in Hisaronu was enough way back in 2004 to get the newspapers out and I recently found the cutting where I think I was parent Keiti. Makes a change from Cif, Kif, Cheeft, Cheetah and Kit.
River City is fabulous Jacqui, mainly because it is so incredibly rubbish. It has allowed me to learn the local language though, a couple of examples being:
I don't want to see you any may-er
That's me, I'm going hayme
It's like normal Scottish dialect with a ridiculously overdone word thrown in at the end. Probably the worst programme ever commissioned after Doctors. Don't get me started on Doctors :D

Oh, and Katy, I was often called Katy in Turkey.

OH Keith!! I do like the Katy one. How do you pronounce that is it like Catty, but in a deep voice.or with a Scottish burr HA HA,
