Hi
Just found the site which is wonderful, I want to find out more about Calis before going there in Sept 2005
Been to Turkey 8 times but never here
46 married and like more peaceful hols and trying to find a way of getting away without the help of the package groups. I live in the south west of UK near Exeter. Easiest place for me to fly from... so any offers of advice from anyone(not the rude ones!!) would be greatly appreciated

Hi Cliff, I just type cheap flights to Dalaman into search engine, then I go through all the sites that come up, i've found it's not always best to wait for a last minute deal. i'll have a quick look, it'll give me something to do. Alan

What date are you planning on Cliff & for how long, also how many of you are going, is it 2 adults plus children. Alan

Alan
what a wonderful chappie you are, I shall do some research on the matter. I must say that I do feel very nervous about dipping my feet in the "arrange it yourself holiday" to Turkey, I have always taken the easy option. Ive done my own Hols to the USA. I have searched this site and definately need to get to Calis in 2005 it has whetted my appetite

Hi Cliff
Welcome to the forum
It's easy to DIY your hols, If you've done it in USA then Turkey should be a doddle.
Good luck

WOW !!!
A great response ... you are all making it sound easy.... I'm starting to believe you!!
Whilst I'm on a roll.... I have been looking at the Camelia apartments... am I looking in the right place or should I be looking elsewhere ???
Oh and if you are feeling generous..... Transfers ????
Cheers
-
PS
I forgot to mention my wife has mobility problems and can not walk great distances and uses a stick... so we dont want to be too far away from the action !!
-
I have not stayed at the Camelia but know the owner (Cenk). He is a member on this forum and also is the estate agent that sold us our apartment.
I did visit the Camelia and thought it was nice. Others on the forum who have stayed will be able to give you more info.
Don't take the point of Cenk being an estate agent as being a bad thing ;o)
Transfers, contact Orange (another member on the forum), they have arranged all ours and we had no problems. You will find plenty of other posts about them if you use the search facility
