Title: Length of Residency Permit

Hope someone can advise/help.
Was speaking to a lawyer today regarding selling cars etc and residency.
She has told me that you can apply for a short time period residency (3 months?) rather than 6 or 12 months.
Have never heard of this and seems rather odd to me.
Has anyone had a short-term residency permit?
Also, has anyone got the phone of Rosie please?

yes you can i have just got 4 months because my passport runs out in oct.. i think you can get 1 month  about 40 pound

You can get a residency from 15 days to 5 years.

Unfortunately starman with the new system now operating in fethiye it,s just taken my wife eleven weeks to get her passport with the new residency returned.The passport police here are completely hopeless.Thats in addition to being arrogant and rude.She even helped them at one stage after they had run out of certain forms, by typing a new one then copying it and giving them two dozen to work with.
