We were over in june and paid our £10 entry visa which was duly stamped on the way in and again on the way out. Does the stamp on the way out cancel the visa? We're due back to turkey in september, does our june visa not still hold good?
-
your June visa is valid for 90 days exactly so depends what date you were there and when you come back.
-
To answer your question, the exit stamp does not cancel the visa. You can use the same one as many times as you like until the 90 days are up. You should exit (not enter) before it's expiry.
-
If you look at your visa you will find that it is valid for 180 days, with no visit to be longer than 90 days (new regs(

Depending on which stamp was given at the time, 90 days or 180 days

Just returned again from turkey new visa law came into force on the 14th,July no more visa runs to rhodes etc if you want to stay longer than 90days a one year visa is 1200ytl or a five year one for 5000ytl this has caused a big concern for many people that ive spoken to as they cant afford the visa and will have to leave the country.A lot of older people rely on there pensions to live on and that is there sole income so now they are in real trouble.I was told that they have three months grace and then they must leave or pay for the visa. Some are worried that they will not be able to sell there homes or maybe reduced to selling very cheaply its a night mare for some.Information sheets are being given out at vals bar in fethyie so dont get caught out. Also, you have to prove that you have money in the bank to live on to obtain the new visas, beware.

The wording on the visa now reads '....multi entry visa, valid for a stay of no more then 90 days per period, of 180 days duration....begins on the date of entry into Turkey. Not valid for work.
The way I read this is that you can leave and return as often as you like in 180 days but you must limit each visit to less then 90 days. Reads like good news to me!
Residency, although expensive gives other benefits : Driving license (no age limit and has so far proved immune to UK fines!), Telecom telephone, Turk ID number so that you can use the hospital paying only a small fee.

Here we go again - if it says no more than 90 days in any 180 day duration surely this does not mean you can have more than 90 days in that period?
