I have just looked on the website at this hotel - it looks lovely. Does anyone know exactly where the hotel is and how you can book it etc.
-
There is a map on here that shows the location.. http://www.letsbookhotel.com/en/turkey/fethiye/hotel/nevada-su-hotel-spa.aspx
-
it's basically on the land behind the Pelin
-
Very misleading for people who don't know the area saying that it is centrally located in Fethiye.:(
One of our admin ladies in the office booked a holiday in Fethiye on my recommendation. It was only 10 days after she booked that it transpired that she will be staying in Ovacik

I've never heard of this hotel, how far, walking, is it from the Pelin?
It looks lovely, anybody stayed here?

Ha ha, didn't read it, just looked at pics! :-\
It's a bit more expensive than what I normally pay at Pelin etc, but you get what you pay for and it looks good.
Just look at those bedrooms!
-
It does look lovely but also, looking at the greenery of the area, also looks like it has been plonked in the middle of Oxfordshire!
-
Sorry there is no greenery. It is surrounded by houses. But have to say it looks lovely very well thought out. Its is well within walking distance of the Pelin looks a much smaller and exclusive hotel than the Pelin. But have only seem it from the outside and the website.

Hi Jan, I meant the picture on the website was misleading with all the greenery - hopefully the rooms will live up to their photos :)
-
a lovely new hotel - English chap called Gary is helping set it up. I work with his girlfriend Jen. Who has just resigned to join him in Calis I wish them all the very best of luck. [:X][:X]

confused.com here :)
I'm a little confused by the sets of photographs in robw links.
I take it the ones in the second link are artist's impressions.

No flies on you John ;):D

Yes I know I really do need to get to the opticians soon.:(
It was just that the two sets looked quite different.
Is it the case that it didn't quite work out as planned.
-
Pass it often on my bike on my way to Surf Cafe. It's about one minute from the new bridge that was a ford until last year on the left hand branch of the river 8)
-
It has been built by the melody Homes group. It is not actually completely finished. They continued building to the end of the winter build period. It is currently listed four star,it will be completed during next winter and then will be uprated to five star(Turkish stars)rating.hope this helps.
-
Is it possible to go and have a look around it yet?
If not, when do you think this will be possible?
-
Yes you can go and have a look round now, very nice.
-
Thanks, will do when we arrive in a few weeks time...

We went round the Nevada Sue as it was just at the back of our hotel. The rooms are lovely as is most of the hotel and amenities although they are having trouble with flaking plaster work down in the spa. The only problem I would have is going back to the hotel at night in the dark, as it is not very well lit there sandf god knows what is lurking around the river and undergrowth on the road leading up to the hotel. I have no idea how much it is to stay there but the guy (assistant manager) who kindly showed us round said we could find out via expedia. Lovely hotel but not very well situated.
-
But just at the back of your hotel, which I assume is well situated?
-
Our hotel was right on the promenade, which is obviously well lit and well situated. The Nevada Su, whilst behind our hotel, is right back over the main road, over the small bridge, and then along side the river and turning up by the surrounding villas all of which looks to be a darkness and on unmade up roads - hence my comment that it is not very well situated unless you like going back to the hotel along dark unlit roads.
-
Basically its on the same road as the Seastar, where we have stayed. Not particularly well lit, but not exactly pitch black at night either. About 5-6 minutes walk from the promenade.Looks very impressive, but I'd be concerned if I was the owner- plaster flaking already !!!- must have been shoddy workmanship. You don't expect that from a hotel that charges so much.

I am sure I started a thread on the forum about this hotel when I returned from Calis in August.
It is situated exactly where another member said, but you dont have to get to it via that lonely stretch of road by the Pelin. Our apartment is really near to it and I always go to Nokta supermarket (old Melissa) to get bread and stuff and pass this hotel on the way, you can get to it by crossing the carriageway and cutting up one of the side streets opposite Nokta.
Personally we think it looks gorgeous really modern and the outside area looks really peaceful and relaxing they have covered shaded areas as well which would be great in August! We did enquire in August about using the pool during the day and were told it would be 20 lira per person for the day, that was without drinks or anything so did not use it as we thought it was a little steep
Did check availability for this New Year's Eve to stay there for a little treat and have a bit, of pampering, but sadly is already fully booked.
-
They are offering packages to get people in .meals for 2 with discounts and meals for couples with overnight stay.its plonked in a strange place amoungst all the aparts and villas and yes it s pretty dark over there. The building work looks poor....very poor....sorry to say that for a new hotel in this area.Pelin for me anyday of the week.
-
We visited this hotel last week while there, and i agree it,s in a strange place basically plonked!! in the middle of villas all around.
The hotel itself it very badly made as yes there is lots af flacking paint around, we were shown around the hotel which has a lovely spa area with very very small indoor dipping pool, sauna, and steam room, a lovely haman area.
The bedroom were a good size, but bathrooms badly made with gaps in the walls from the sinks and taps.
On walking around the hotel which is like a tardus!!! my hubby being an ex health and safety manager asked where the signs were for Fire exits as there were none anywhere :o the young girl showing us around just ignored the question and carried on talking about the hotel.
The plan is for another block of rooms to be built next year so it will be bigger ...
Really not sure if this will take off, we would not us it..
-
It is lovely. But, it is right in the middle of residential villa's and arparts. I would not be happy if it bordered right onto my garden. It is being run by a young English couple but I think it is part of the Nicolas Homes Group. The food and service was good and of course they are trying very hard. Nice little gardens to have a drink in and lots of seating. I hav'nt tried the treatments yet, saving that for next year! Lacking atmosphere as almost empty but they are happy for non residentials to eat or just pop in for a drink. I will be interested to see how well they are doing next year. If the residents have not had it closed down by then !! After all that I would say it is worth going to. [:X]

That is a fair point but in fairness the land the hotel was built on has always been designated as TTA/Tourism land on the town plan, NOT residential. Competent agents would have at least warned that a large (3 storey) hotel there was possible, perhaps even likely.
