In a couple of years time Nick and I will clebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We are planning to take a holiday of a life time. I know where I want to go but there are so many fabulous places to go the more I look the more discombobulated I become. Where would you go?

I really fancy one of those huts on stilts in the sea in the Maldives, two weeks with nothing to do apart from eat and snorkel :D I'm not that interested in America or the Far East so that restricts many of the options.

My favourite area in all the world is the Far East. Turkey is my second fav and much closer to home so that is why we chose to buy there.
I also like the Middle East for the pampering in those 5 star hotels.

For me my first choice is India and then onto the Maldives or Goa - seriously worried as I picked up a Kuoni brochure the places are amaznig and so are the prices. But them mexico/south America looks fabulous.

New York, fabulous place 24 hour City where it's hard not to find something to do. It has a great atmosphere and a real buzz about the place. We celebrated a special anniversary there and went to the River Cafe at Brooklyn, cannot describe what a fabulous place it was, sitting by a window looking across the Hudson to the New York skyline. Food was fabulous service was out of this world.. Probably the best restaurant we have ever been too. Unforgettable, nearly impossible to get a table. Book a long way in advance, and don't go through any websites, email them directly, lots of celebrities use this place. When we where there a lot of U.N. parties from around the world were eating there... Expect an expensive unforgettable meal

I married my Wife on a beach in Kenya and then did a safari as the honeymoon treat. Ive been to Kenya twice and Goa once but found Goa very much a culture shock compared to Kenya. For a romantic hotel id recommend Manarani ( spelling ) somewhere i hope to spend my 20th anniversary in a few years time :)
Just found it, we stayed here in 1999 for our 5th annivesary and it was perfect...

We stayed at the Club Caribean In Runaway Bay Jamaica.
Not the poshest but I loved the little huts. The food is faultless and the service second to none. No waiting for wine or water waiters go round all night filling your glass.
Trips in Jamaica are plentiful and u sually consist of two or three stops at different sights.

Hilary has had a big birthday this year and wanted to celebrate with a special holiday where we will be doing things never done before (or after). So September will find us sitting on camels in the High Atlas in Morocco.

I have to agree that the Maldives are great, a very idylic relaxed place(no shoes required). Also Sri Lanka, we got married in Sri Lanka and honeymooned in the Maldives on a little island called Biyadoo. My brother is also getting married next year in Sri Lanka.
