Good old Saturdays and the prem are back, I love my Saturday afternoons, come what may, bring it on, :P does anyone else keep the footy updates on until the tables have been shown ?
-
Yes Yes Yes
What a shame Sky Sports News has been pulled from Freeview - I love Gillette Soccer Saturday with Jeff Stelling and the boys. I'll have to watch posh boy Garth Crooks and Mad eyes Martin Keown on the BBC red button this season :-\
Wishing Blackpool all the best (well Ian H anyway)
And yes Moe, I do - I can't imagine not seeing the tables, what would be the point :)
-
I know, your right, when you hear one of them shout goal, then your like OH SH*T, waiting to find out, at least I will get the first Saturday before we go away, then have to face us playing Trabson while I am there, be good though, get there on wednesday and play them on Thursday,(sold out here):P
-
Yes - believe it or not I was trying to get tickets for the Trabzonspor match at Anfield - little Abbs and I fancied heading down for it (especially at £10 and £5 for kids!) but as you say sold out - shows what can be done if you get your prices sorted - should be a cracking night.
-
shame really, it would of been a good day/night for her,
-
Shame but I won't be paying to see mad Kammy make a fool of himself. Hate Crooks though so will probably just wait for MOTD wothout knowing the scores.
-
It's funny to read that - I can't stand Garth Crooks either, I really, really can't stand the man - to me he is one of the many in life who talk with a posh accent but really say nothing. I think I disagree with nearly everything he says! Give me Le Tissier, Thomson and Charlie Nicholas any day. Shame that the best of the lot Rodney Marsh had to go too, and if we could just get Georgie Best back...

I'm sure it would, her full experience of the professional game so far in life is St. Johnstone v Clyde. She did like the pie at half time though :D
-
Couldn't Cenk get you some tickets in the away end?
-
just renewed our Chelsea membership, the cards arrived yesterday and we have tickets to Wigan Chelsea next weekend - well excited.
-
Wigan:D
-
Just a bit of information, if you like a Fantasy Football challenge, the Daily Mail has a free to enter game, so why not have a go.
-
It would be nice to see some new blood this season in the traditional CBF I know The Score competition - check out the IKTS topic in the footie section, it's good fun :)
-
i joined as a newbie Kieth, well i think i did[?] ;)
-
Yes I can see you there :)
Shout if you need to know anything...
-
One question what are the small binoculars for?
-
Thhey allow you to see the predictions of others in the league. Sadly not till the games have kicked off as I remember.
-
Interesting to see in the papers today that Manchester City plan to buy the league... Latest signing £70,000. I thought it was Chelsea that was suppose to buy the league? do Man City realise this?
-
Thanks and good luck to all ;) :)

£70,000 for a footballer sounds like a snip no wonder they bought him. :o
-
Was it Emile Heskey? :D
-
Just watching the scores come up on Soccer Saturday, not really up with these Scottish teams bit just saw....
P'head 0 Forfar 1 is that you losing H ?
:D ;)
-
H is Ross County... Peterhead is our local team. They have done well in the last few years. In case you don't know Peterhead is the biggest white fish port in Europe.. Nothing like the fish from this area.
Re Manchester City.. I did mean 7 million, watching the match, we were informed that Yaya Toure is getting £200,000 (two hundred thousand) per week.. I cannot believe the wages these guys are getting it's amazing.
-
i agree Jacqui, just crazy, just think 1 weeks wages would set most people up for life, the football world has gone mad imo.
-
It's reported they have off Imbromivic (speling?) £500,000 per week to sign.
-
and we begin the season with Chelski on top, just a passing thought, I dont know, but how many teams have started off on top, and gone on to win it.maybe one for the google brigade, ;)
-
They all start off top Laffa - unless you go alphabetically ;)
-
you know what I mean Stoop.!!!!!!!:P or do you.
