Title: Wifi and Horse Riding
Post by: icw on August 16, 2010, 06:48:34 AM
Hi All - I guess these two are not usually associated with each other but anyone know of any free Wifi spots in Calis or at the sunset beach club? Because it might be useful to have access to this forum when I get to Calis.
Plus it's going to be my daughters 7th birthday when we go to Calis next week and she'd love to have a riding lesson as a birthday present.
Thanks in advance

You guys are so helpful

By the way how do you pronounce Calis and Fethiye?

Hi, if you search wifi on  forum, there is a topic listing all places?
At the Sat beach club at the end of the prom, you can sit on beach, use wifi, no password needed.
Oh and, Chalish and Fetiyay? Lol, hope that helps? X

Would agree with Calvin, would not recommend putting a 7 year old on a horse here.

If you intend to have riding lessons for your daughter it's best to take her to a reputable Riding School in the U.K. and if you book a block of lessons they will probably make a discount. It's far better to get started at the same place to have continuity with the learning process. Our daughter started to learn when she was 5 years old and was so keen she used to stay on at the stables, which was just over the field from us and help out with the cleaning and grooming.  She grew up loving horse and eventually bought her own.

I agree with you Jacquie. Much better way of introducing a child to riding.

I would strongly advise you not to take your child riding here. It is not policed in this part of Turkey, can be fun but it can also be dangerous and could put your girl off the subject all together. Read other posts on that issue before you make your mind up.
